DAY 0: Arusha – Tanzania

DAY 1-2: Maasai Mara (Serengeti National park) and Maasai tribe communities. Tanzania.

The Serengeti is one of the oldest and most scientifically significant ecosystems on the planet. Its weather patterns, fauna, and flora are believed to have changed very little over a million years, giving the area a prehistoric feel. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word” Siringit” meaning endless plain. The whole ecosystem stretches over 12,000 square miles.
The Serengeti is home to the world’s largest movement of animals, often called the “Great Migration”, more than 1.7 million wildebeests, 500,000 zebras, and 200,000 antelopes make their way from the Ndutu region of the Southern Serengeti northwards through the whole length of the “endless plain” to Kenya's Maasai Mara.
DAY 3-4: Olduvai Gorge and Ngorongoro crater (Ngorongoro national park) Tanzania.

DAY 5: Tarangire National Park game drive – Arusha

The Tarangire national park is a park in the Manyara region of Tanzania. The name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeests and zebras.
During the dry season, thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire national park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas. It covers an area approximately of 2850 square kilometers. The landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river rift valleys, and swimming the vegetation is a mix of acacia woodland combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland, and Baobab trees.
